Unpublished manuscripts

Granqvist harboured several ideas for books and started on drafts for a few of these. Mainly two manuscripts were further developed: one on Selma Lagerlöf’s Swedish colony in Jerusalem, and one on Arab women and their life conditions.

The former manuscript was in large part completed, but Granqvist could not get any publisher to take interest. She did, however, gather illustrations for the book and these can be found in the section Photographs. The manuscript is kept at the Åbo Akademi University Library in Turku.

The latter manuscript is in its original raw form, Granqvist never completed the disposition and the intended content. The notes that Granqvist was planning to use can be found in Fieldnotes. This manuscript is kept at the Palestine Exploration Fund in London.
